Promotion policy

A project can pay for a place on the desk. Recognition still has to be earned. These principles apply to campaign submissions and any future paid placements.

What is open today

The room's showcase folio and calendar use illustrative examples. They are not paid advertisements, live campaign inventory, or evidence of actual sponsored results. You can prepare a promotion brief in your private workspace; submitting it starts a review rather than a purchase.

Clear identification

When paid placements become available, each placement must carry a clear label such as 'Sponsored advertisement' that can be read before opening the project. An immersive book, notepad or screen treatment must not hide the commercial relationship. Editorial examples and independent community work must remain distinguishable from paid content.

Accurate and authorized content

Promoters must have the rights to their names, logos, images, code excerpts and claims. Explain what the project does without fabricated users, endorsements, revenue, test results or performance promises. Material connections and eligibility restrictions must be disclosed.

We may reject or ask for changes to unlawful, misleading, infringing, unsafe or malicious submissions, including malware, impersonation, undisclosed sponsorship and financial promises that cannot be substantiated. A review is not a certification of a project's security or legal compliance.

Agree on delivery before paying

The offer must identify the placement, creative, delivery period, price and any applicable cancellation or refund terms before payment. Unless expressly agreed, a placement does not guarantee clicks, impressions, sign-ups, revenue or community approval. Checkout is currently closed; no campaign is booked merely by saving a brief.

If a paid placement becomes unavailable or materially differs from the agreed offer, the applicable offer and consumer law govern remedies. We will establish and disclose the actual commercial cancellation and refund policy before opening paid checkout.

Keep recognition independent

Paying for a promotion or membership does not buy positive reviews, higher contribution scores, reward eligibility, a larger reward share, or an investment return. Promotion review and contribution recognition are separate decisions.

Reports about a misleading placement, rights violation or other concern should identify the project, relevant page and supporting details. Do not include secrets or unnecessary personal information. Contact activation details appear below.
