Privacy policy
Your work belongs to you. This notice explains the information Greensquares handles, the services that help us run the studio, and the choices available to you.
The greensquares.dev contact mailboxes are being set up. The addresses below are not yet confirmed as receiving messages. These policy pages remain a draft for this preview until that contact route is active.
Who is responsible
Greensquares Inc., a Delaware corporation in the United States, operates Greensquares. This notice covers the Greensquares website and account workspace. Third-party websites, authentication, wallet and payment services have their own notices.
The current release is a preview. Public calendar activity and example projects are illustrative. Your saved profile and project drafts are private; saving them does not publish them.
Information you provide
When you use GitHub sign-in through Privy, we receive a verified account identity, including your Privy identifier, GitHub identifier and username. Privy also makes your linked display name and embedded-wallet information available to the app. We do not receive your GitHub password.
We store the profile details, project descriptions, repository and website links, contribution evidence, and interest notes you choose to save. A promotion submission can include a project, campaign brief, review status, reviewer notes, and an approved offer. Authorized reviewers can read submitted promotion information to assess the request.
Public-repository import retrieves public GitHub metadata. These import routes do not retrieve private repository contents. Please do not put secrets, private keys, passwords, or confidential third-party information in a profile, project, or promotion brief.
Wallets and payments
Privy provides the embedded wallet and its security, signing and export flows. Greensquares does not receive a wallet private key through those flows. Wallet address, balance queries and transaction details may be processed by Privy and the configured blockchain network or RPC provider.
The application can record transaction addresses, chain, hash, asset, amount, status and time. Public blockchain activity is visible independently of Greensquares and cannot be erased by deleting application records.
Card funding and paid checkout are not open in this preview. The payment integration, when enabled, uses Stripe for payment details and may store customer identifiers, order references, payment status and webhook records. Card details are entered with the payment provider, rather than stored in the Greensquares database. Availability and additional provider terms will be shown before a purchase.
The weather outside your window
The room uses an approximate city to match your local sky. It first attempts location information supplied by our hosting network. When that is unavailable, your browser contacts ipapi.is, which receives your IP address to estimate a location. VPNs and network routing can affect the result.
The application discards the raw IP from the lookup result, rounds coordinates to two decimal places, and uses them to request a forecast from MET Norway through Greensquares. City, region, country, time zone and rounded coordinates are temporarily stored in your browser session, with a 15-minute reuse period. The application also keeps a bounded forecast cache by coordinates. Hosting and lookup providers may separately process connection information under their own policies.
How and why we use information
We use information to authenticate accounts, provide private workspaces and wallets, import requested repository details, review submitted promotions, produce requested exports, display local weather, protect the service and respond to requests. We use payment records to administer purchases if checkout is enabled.
We do not automatically publish your private drafts. If a future feature publishes your content, its publishing action and audience must be made clear. Submitting a repository link does not transfer your copyright to Greensquares.
The current application does not contain an advertising-tracking pixel or an audience-analytics SDK, and we do not sell personal information or use it for cross-site targeted advertising. Hosting and authentication providers may process operational telemetry. We will update this notice if these practices change.
Services and disclosures
We use Vercel and OpenAI Sites infrastructure, including Cloudflare-backed hosting and database services, to deliver and store application data. GitHub and Privy provide account services; Privy and blockchain providers support wallets; ipapi.is and MET Norway support location and weather. Stripe is integrated for future payment processing.
Information may be disclosed when needed to provide a requested service, follow applicable law, protect rights and security, or carry out a business transfer subject to applicable safeguards. External project links take you to services outside our control. Service providers may process information in the United States and other countries.
Storage and retention
We retain account and workspace information while it is needed to operate your account, address submitted requests, protect the service, and meet applicable legal obligations. Retention also depends on the information type, an unresolved promotion or payment, and provider requirements. The preview does not yet have an automatic account-wide deletion schedule.
Deleting an eligible project removes that project from your workspace. A project linked to a promotion cannot currently be deleted through the project control. Cancelling a promotion changes its status but does not erase the brief. Signing out does not delete your account, stored information or embedded wallet.
Authentication storage is managed by Privy. A local browser preference remembers whether you paused room animation. Operational records and provider backups are subject to the relevant service's retention practices; we do not promise an immediate purge from every provider or backup.
Your choices and requests
You can edit your profile and project drafts, remove eligible projects, and use the account export in Dashboard → Settings. That export contains the principal account and workspace records, rather than every infrastructure log or internal service record.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, or appeal a request decision. Some records may need to be retained for legal or security reasons. Blockchain records cannot be deleted by us. We may need proportionate identity verification before disclosing or changing account information.
Account-wide self-service deletion is not available in this preview. Preserve access to and export your wallet through Privy's secure flow before requesting account closure. App records, provider accounts and public blockchain records are separate. Our contact details and their activation status appear below.
Security, children and updates
We use authenticated access checks and other technical measures to protect private workspace information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Keep GitHub recovery and wallet-security methods current, and never send a private key in a support request.
Greensquares is a developer service and is not directed to children under 13. Do not use it if you are under 13. If you are a minor where you live, use the service only with the permission required by applicable law; wallet and payment providers may impose stricter age or regional requirements.
We update this notice when our practices change and show the revised date. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law. Your mandatory privacy rights are not limited by this notice.
